Without any further postponement, let’s dive right in and see if this is a service that you should consider using or if you should look for a Prospect.io alternative.
While we’re on the topic of alternatives, if you’re interested in what I would recommend as an alternative in this case – it’s AimFox without a second thought in my mind. Back to today’s review:
What Is Prospect Io? – The Basics
There’s nothing special about this service that drastically distinguishes it from the other competitors.
Relying on my extensive research regarding Prospect.io and their service, I can tell you with certainty that there’s nothing quite special about what they offer.
Automation tools for LinkedIn tend to be very repetitive in the sense where almost all of the competitors offer the same kind of deal.
One thing that does stand out when I think about Prospect.io and their service is the way their pricing works.
I’ll try not to bore you with all the unnecessary details, but rather to explain to you why I enjoy how their billing and payment works.
The first (and the least important) thing is that their payment page is quite clean-looking and well-designed.
If you paid close attention to this image, you could have seen that there’s a little notch at the top of the picture, allowing you to seamlessly switch between the monthly and the yearly plan prices.
A big majority of other companies that are competitors to Prospect Io don’t have this feature but rather offer you either a monthly or a yearly plan.
Another thing that is quite interesting is that you can also buy additional credits. This option is given at the lower part of the page, and all you have to do to access it is to simply scroll down.
But I digress; this Prospectio review isn’t made to comment purely on the aesthetics of the website, but rather to give you an insight into how well this service really works.
Based on this, let’s move on to some other, less trivial things. I don’t like the fact that the owner of the company is unknown and that they’re actively trying to hide their identity.
This is a sign of a lack of belief in one’s service that they’re putting out on the market. If someone is confident in the product or service that they’re offering, they shouldn’t have a good enough reason to hide their identity from their users.
On the other hand, there is something else that I do quite like. Their automation process is quite good for not having any unique features.
What I mean by this is that the features that they do provide their users with work just fine, and it seems that nobody has experienced any lags, crashes, or other problems with it.
They also have a valid SSL certificate, which is quite calming to know. In order to skip all the boring stuff, I’ll tell you this much about what an SSL certificate really is – it’s a tool that makes sure you have a secure connection from a web server to a browser.
It keeps your data safe, and you don’t have to be worried about some of your personal information leaking and getting into the wrong hands. Well, to be honest, when we talk about personal data, all hands but yours are the wrong hands.
How Do You Use Prospect.io? – User’s Guide
It’s not that hard to use Prospect.io and its service. Automation tools aren’t hard to use; on the contrary – they’re made for easy use and simple utilization.
All you have to do after you buy their product is to enter your information and download the extension.
After that, you’ll get their personalized instructions about how to set it up and running.
After that, you’ll be able to personalize and automatize as you’d like without much work needed.
It’s really easy and shouldn’t be a problem for someone who knows how to follow instructions. The only thing that might give you some trouble is the moment when you have to personalize the interaction between the service and your LinkedIn profile.
But, that’s a topic for another day. There are countless guides on how to do this effectively and how to maximize what you can get out of Prospect.io and its service.
It can also get quite hard to do this because some people might get confused by the specific options that this service offers.
Don’t get discouraged about this because everyone gets it eventually, and there’s no need or room for panic.
Testing these things out for yourself is both time consuming and costly. I’ve dedicated a lot of my time testing these out so you won’t have to. So far, Aimfox for us has the best value among all it’s competitors. Want to learn more? Check out our in-depth review here.
Prospect.io Review – In Summation
There’s quite a lot of features that are liked by the community (including me) and some that need to be worked on. To get rid of the confusion that this might cause, I made a pros and cons table that might clear up the air around this situation:
|Good pricing mechanic||The identity of the owner is unknown
|Additional monthly credits option||Can be confusing to set up|
As you can see, there are quite a few pros that can make this service a good choice for some of you. On the other side, the things that this company and its service lack may be huge deal-breakers for some people.
The decision about using Prospect Io is purely individual, and you should base it on what you’re looking for in a service.
Regardless of what you chose to do with the information I shared here with you, I hope that your decision meets your needs and that you get your money’s worth.
Good luck and stay safe!
